Stacy Erickson Edwards is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who lives in the Seattle area.

After starting her home organizing business, Home Key Organization in 2012, she discovered that there were very few social media services that addressed the needs of small businesses and soloprenuers like herself. She started Home Key: Organized Social Media in 2013 to be able to provide basic social media updating services at an affordable price. In 2017, she decided to rebrand to align her business with some changes in life, and Simplicity Social Media was born.

Why Simplicity? Because life CAN be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. Usually things become easier as we declutter, strip away the unnecessary and focus on what is important to us. Stacy strives to convey that in all areas of life.

Stacy has been interested in social media since the early days of Friendster and MySpace. Though she never anticipated that social media would turn into a career, she has always been passionate about writing, which she now gets to do quite a bit of.

Before starting her businesses, Stacy worked in early childhood education, obtaining degrees from North Seattle Community College and the Evergreen State College. Though she doesn’t work with children as often as before, she adores children’s ingenuity and strives to bring that energy to her work.

After being diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2015 after 16 years of suffering without a diagnosis, Stacy started CPAPBabes, a blog to help raise awareness for sleep apnea and help people feel less alone in their PAP therapy. CPAPBabes has garnered a lot of attention online and Stacy is ecstatic that her work is helping others sleep and live better.

Stacy currently lives on beautiful Whidbey Island with her husband, Dave, their young son and her two cats, Darby and Momo. She was born in Bellingham, Washington, and lived on Capitol Hill in Seattle up until recently.

Stacy often has her team of awesome freelancers working with her to get social media tasks done. She loves providing opportunities for flexible work so that people can pursue their other passions. Because social media can be done anywhere in the world, the freelancers she works are often avid travelers.
